During this vinyasa class (75 minutes) we focus on our breathing. It is not just me (the teacher) who is guiding you through your practice; it is mostly your breath that leads you and the movement will follow. By focusing on the breath, we shift our attention to the moment ‘now’. This is an excellent tool to turn our focus inwards, to reconnect with ourselves, our emotions, our senses, mind and body.
All levels are welcome! We start moving from a basic pose, leaving options for more advanced yogis to level up their practice and move into an advanced version of the pose. My aim is to guide everyone through the practice in a safe and responsible way, within their own range of motion and capabilities. Only the student can sense what he/she needs at that moment
After class, there will be time for a cup of tea and a chat. I’m more than happy to answer any questions and/or receive your feedback.
About five years ago I stepped into a yoga studio for the first time. Just to try something new. Little did I know that yoga is much more than just some movements on a mat. After traveling through Australia and living so close to nature, I felt the urge to deepen my practice, and I’ve been doing that ever since. I followed a yoga teacher training (200 hours) on Nusa Lembongan, a small island that is part of Bali. During this training I was taught the traditional hatha yoga, which is why you might experience my classes as a little bit different from other vinyasa classes. But hey, in fact, no class is ever experienced in the exact same way, right?
